Quality Assurance Lead
Overview
Our client is seeking a Quality Assurance Lead to provide strategic QA leadership and hands-on testing support across a large-scale enterprise transformation initiative. This is a working leadership role that combines QA strategy, coordination, oversight, and direct test execution across multiple projects involving enterprise cloud-based SaaS solutions.
The QA Lead will coordinate the work of multiple QA Analysts and partner closely with business, technical, development, and vendor teams to ensure high-quality, fully tested solutions.
Responsibilities
- Define QA strategy and test plans across the program.
- Coordinate the work of multiple QA Analysts as needed.
- Execute hands-on testing for cloud-based SaaS solutions.
- Prioritize test coverage in environments where automated testing is still developing.
- Partner with business, technical, development, and vendor teams to ensure high-quality delivery.
- Track defects and QA metrics.
- Drive remediation and retesting workflows.
- Maintain test documentation, environments, and data sets.
- Standardize QA processes and testing practices.
- Provide coaching and oversight to QA team members.
- Report QA status and risks to program leadership.
- Provide knowledge transfer.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Five (5) years of proven work experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or in a similar role.
- Two (2) years of experience leading others.
- Experience with QA methodologies.
- Ability to document and troubleshoot errors.
- Working knowledge of test management software and SQL.
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with an analytical and problem-solving mindset.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Experience supporting complex enterprise implementations or operational environments is highly desirable.
